Annual General Meeting - June 8th 2001
  1. Summary of Season
    Season started well, but suffered later in the second half due to a combination of injuries and players returning home
    Tour - one of the best the club had undertaken, great trip, good rugby, good beer and no arrests!
    Annual Dinner - Great evening, raised more funds than expected, thanks to all attendees, and those that helped to make the vent go so well!
  2. Thanks to Chris
    Chris Griffiths standing down after 6 seasons as Head Coach - Committee and members wished to pass on their gratitude and heartfelt thanks for everything Chris had done for the Club
  3. Election of Club Officers
    A new Committee was voted in, membership of which can be seen on the Committee page.
  4. Recruitment
    Issue of recruitment was discussed, important for all members to do their best to encourage players to the Club
  5. Fixtues
    Several fixtures already in the pipeline
    Sark Shags - August Bank Holiday weekend, Saturday 27th August
    Wooden Spoon -v- Wasps Legends, Saturday 10th September
    Sunday 11th September, possible Island Select Game versus Cherbourg
    Herm Staff, 22nd October at KGV
  6. Summer Events
    Social Secretary has several events mooted, including a Summer Pub Crawl, a repeat of last years Go Kart Grand Prix and events for the forthcoming World Cup
  7. New Years Eve
    Following the great time had by all at David and Jill's Wedding Dance last New Year's Eve, Jill had asked to canvas opinion and numbers for a repeat for the Club this NY's Eve! Feedback to Stef please!
  8. Tour 2012
    After the success of the latest tour, all felt that the Club should undertake a tour in the forthcoming season. Ilkley was suggested as the venue, Matt Chammings to investigate logistics
  9. Membership and Fees
    Subscriptions to remain at £60 per player, £75 for family membership, and life membership at £150 for Veterans
    Home match fees to remain at £ 5 per game
  10. Any Other Busines
    All players asked to make sure that the Chairman was supplied with their up to date contact details
    Format and date for pre season training to be informed after first meeting for new Committee
